ABOUT US
Computer Risk Management Ltd was formed in January 1993 by Dermot McLaughlin and two partners. They gave IT Support for Small to medium sized Companies by Contract or ad-hoc services.
In 2002 the company developed an e-commerce site selling printers and printer-related products. This became 50% of the business and a decision was taken to split the company, with Dermot McLaughlin taking the computer maintenance side and the other partners continuing the ecommerce division.
Fasttext.net Limited - was formed in October 2000 by Dermot and Hazel McLaughlin to concentrate on laptop repairs. In January 2001, Fasttext won a contract to carry out warranty repairs to HP Notebooks on behalf of Compal, one of the top 3 notebook manufacturers in the world. Since 2001, under the Directorship of Chris Thomas, we have fixed over half a million laptops.
CRM Systems Support Ltd - was formed in January 2005 when Fasttext bought out the Computer Maintenance Division of Computer Risk Management and renamed the company CRM Systems Support Ltd.
